The channel catfish is the largest of the native catfish in Canada, found in the warm lakes and rivers of southern Ontario. This was my first catfish piece, a tribute to the species in contrast to the other commonly angled species here in Ontario. The print is of an original pen and ink, completed with staedtler fineline markers using techniques of cross-hatching, stippling, and fine linework. The piece is available in 5x7” and 8x10” sizes, packaged with a backing board in a cellophane sleeve.
