Meet the Artist
I'm Abby, a self-taught artist with a MSc in Ecology and a career in aquatic environmental monitoring. Years spent studying fish and freshwater ecosystems have taught me to notice the details that often go unseen. Through woodburning, watercolour, acrylic, and ink, my work celebrates the biodiversity of Canada's inland lakes, rivers and wetlands.
Based in Ontario, I create original artwork for anglers, paddlers, naturalists, field professionals, researchers, educators and those with a love for an underwater view. From illustrations to fine art, bringing freshwater life into a new light is what I do.
TLDR: I make art for the fish enthusiast.
